Privacy Policy
This policy describes the paws-and-tiles.lhub.pw website and the Paws & Tiles app.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Irina Aleksandrovna Cherkasova, publicly known as IreneChe. For data and privacy enquiries: irene-vesel@yandex.ru.
2. Playing without an account
Registration is optional. Your device stores your current game, friendship with the cats, stories and your choices, tea leaves, supplies, statistics and settings. Opening the game alone does not upload this progress to an account. Local data remains until the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
3. Accounts and cloud transfer
Registration uses a username, password hash, recovery-code hash, registration date and the version of the policy accepted. Registration does not ask for your real name, phone number or email address. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in plain text. Your recovery code is shown once.
Hashes of time-limited tokens are stored for sign-in. The website uses an essential authentication cookie, which is required to sign in. The app receives a separate token after you approve a one-time code on the website; you do not need to enter your password in the app.
When you explicitly select Save to Cloud, the app sends your game progress, settings and unfinished game. The server stores the latest uploaded copy, its revision and upload time. Restoration is a separate action that requires confirmation in the app. Your advertising personalization choice stays on the individual device and is not transferred.
4. How data is used
Data is used for registration and sign-in, saving and restoring progress, revoking device access, recovering account access and preventing abuse. The website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Usernames and saves are not published or made available to other players.
5. Optional in-app advertising
The app uses Yandex Mobile Ads. Before the first ad is loaded, you can accept or decline personalization. You can change this choice in Settings. Rewards are the same with either choice, and declining does not prevent you from playing.
When advertising is used, Yandex may process device information, IP addresses, advertising identifiers and ad interactions in accordance with its terms and your settings. Declining personalization does not mean that the ad network needs no technical data to display an ad. Learn more: Yandex Privacy Policy.
6. Infrastructure and security
Connections to the service involve technical data, including IP addresses and server log information. Hashed rate-limit keys are temporarily stored to limit sign-in attempts and are removed after expiry. Data may be processed by hosting and network infrastructure providers or disclosed in response to a lawful request from an authorised authority. We do not sell user data.
The published service uses HTTPS, password hashing, a secure authentication cookie, time-limited tokens and account ownership checks for saves. Accounts for this game and the neighbouring Sudoku website are independent.
7. Retention, your rights and deletion
Your account and cloud save are retained until you delete the account. Expired tokens and sign-in codes are cleaned up during service operation. You can delete your account and cloud save on the My Progress page under Access and Account Deletion. This revokes connected devices but does not erase the local game on your phone. Instructions are also available on a separate page.
You can contact the operator to request information about your data, corrections or deletion. Technical logs and infrastructure backups may be retained for a limited time for security and recovery; they are not used to restore a deleted account to the live database.
8. Age and policy changes
The service does not ask for your age and is not intended to knowingly collect children's personal data. Where applicable rules require a legal representative's consent, the account should be used with their involvement. The version and date of this policy are updated when features or data processing change.
